About the product

When the lights flicker, the APC Back-UPS ES 525 gives you the minutes needed to save your work and shut systems down cleanly. It switches to battery in a few milliseconds, so computers do not even notice, and it filters surges and spikes the rest of the time.

Three outlets provide battery backup and surge protection and others give surge protection only, so printers and chargers do not drain the battery. It is a sensible protection for a home office, a router with a small NAS, or a Raspberry Pi cluster.
